Pois é um CD variado e absolutamente encantador, um dos maiores sucessos do selo Archiv. Há excelência na interpretação de cada uma das peças e conheço muita gente boa que começou a ouvir música erudita por este LP de 1985, depois tornado CD. Porque o inexperiente que é esperto não quer saber de porcaria, quer carinho e atenção de primeira qualidade. Ninguém quer nada residual, né? E esta atenção é dada em fartas quantidades por Trevor Pinnock e seu English Concert.
(Nem que seja para mostrar para aquele seu sobrinho inteligente a fim de introduzi-lo neste mundo de leituras contraditórias).
